Mainframe Architect

Work model - Hybrid for first 2 weeks in St. Paul, Minnesota then Remote

Required Skills:

• Technologies involved (COBOL, PL/1, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, VSAM, etc.)
• Business domain (Claims, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Billing, etc.)
• Modernization approach
• Target architecture
• Business outcomes

Key Skillset

• Strong experience in mainframe architecture and mainframe modernization principles - application pattern/component identification
  - PL/1, Telon, COBOL, CICS, IMS/DB2, JCL
• Proven expertise in application assessment and discovery
  - application sizing, complexity scoring, and business/technical health assessment for large mainframe portfolios leveraging application analysis tools
• Demonstrated skill in APR/TIME analysis and R-lane disposition methodology leveraging cloud tools and AI
• Strong track record in target-state architecture and wave-based roadmap design for legacy-to-cloud modernization

Responsibility

• Drives application segregation, pattern identification, and complexity/health assessment
• Defines APR/TIME analysis and R-lane disposition for each application
• Owns the end-to-end legacy modernization roadmap and wave-based transformation plan
