As a BI & Financial Report Developer with Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) Partnering with Minnesota Department of Transportation  you will provide financial reporting and financial application user support for the agency. You will be responsible for developing, modifying, testing, maintaining, and publishing reports and dashboards using financial data. Ensuring that all financial reports are designed and delivered in an accurate, efficient, and user-focused manner so internal and external stakeholders can access the financial information they need.

In addition, you will produce ad hoc data extracts for users across MnDOT and respond to financial data inquiries from staff within the department.

* This position requires a minimum of one (1) year of IT related experience in developing, maintaining, or supporting reports and/or dashboards using business intelligence, reporting, database, or related technologies.

Experience must include:

+ Designing, developing, and supporting reports and dashboards using financial data.

+ Using reporting and data technologies such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, SQL, and/or comparable tools.

+ Testing, validating, and reconciling data to ensure the accuracy of reports and dashboards.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding.

+ Customer-focused approach is grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences.
