The MNIT DHS team supports complex and varied technical needs, including systems that provide health care coverage, deliver child protection and welfare services, and provide support for Minnesotans with special needs including mental illness, chemical dependencies, and physical or developmental disabilities.

Salesforce is a complex, cloud-based platform requiring specialized expertise to optimize its utilization as an application development environment. The production of efficient, stable, and secure Salesforce applications demands a deep understanding of both declarative and programmatic development, as well as robust Dev Ops practices. As the Salesforce Dev Ops Engineer you are responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Salesforce Dev Ops environment within the MNIT DHS and MNsure enterprise.

This position is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, secure, and reliable delivery of Salesforce applications that align with agency strategic objectives. By establishing and maintaining standardized Dev Ops practices, this position will contribute to the optimization of development, testing, and deployment processes. This position requires a deep understanding of Git Hub CI/CD capabilities, Dev Ops methodologies, and industry best practices to effectively support the agency's mission.

This position requires an employee to work onsite at 540 Cedar St. Saint Paul, Minnesota at least 50% [or more or less if space limitations remain] of the time, with limited telework available. Telework ()  eligibility depends on residence:

+ Candidates living in Minnesota or within 50 miles of the worksite in a bordering state (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin) may telework up to 50%.

+ Minnesota residents living more than 50 miles from the worksite may be eligible to telework more than 50%.
