Senior Attorney

Description

A well-established boutique law firm has an immediate opening for a Senior Attorney with at least 8 years of commercial litigation experience, to handle construction-related disputes.

Core responsibilities include:

+ Manage complex construction law cases from intake to strategy development and execution

+ Conduct legal research, correspond with clients, draft documents, manage discovery resources, delegate tasks to staff members, prepare for mediations/arbitrations/depositions/trial, etc.

+ Successfully develop and maintain strong relationships with the firm's existing client base

+ Marketing the Firm to new and potential clients through frequent and direct contact

+ Participate in firm leadership including mentoring other attorneys and staff members, oversee finance and administration matters, and lead strategic planning for the firm

Requirements

+ Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as an attorney in commercial litigation

+ Exemplary communication, negotiation and advocacy skills

+ Commitment to client-first attitude and high ethical standards

+ Active law license in Minnesota

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain organization
