Compensation
Pay Range: $16.37 - $21.40. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Job Responsibilities- Serve as contact person for the city delivery service.
- Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, and ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by the scheduled time.
- Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist picking up the order for delivery.
- Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
- Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and communicate any delays to stores remaining on route.
- Continuously monitor the hub system and routes for ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and/or reduce expenses.
- Communicate recommendations to the store manager.
- Ensure all team members assigned to the hub clock in and out according to company policy.
- Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and make any necessary billing adjustments.
- Work with the store manager to ensure the route is covered in the absence of a regular city delivery specialist.
- Work with the store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles.
- Provide input to the store manager regarding delivery specialists’ performance in preparation for performance evaluations.
- Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Required: Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Desired: Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
