The Purchasing Agent supports procurement activities by sourcing materials, processing purchase orders, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely product availability. This role collaborates with internal teams and suppliers to support business objectives, cost management, and supply continuity. The position contributes to accurate purchasing records and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities- Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Track order status and resolve supply or delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on purchasing needs.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
- 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of sourcing, inventory management, and supplier performance metrics.
- APICS, ISM, or other relevant supply chain certification.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $29.00-$35.00.
