Advent Talent Group is seeking a Food Market Receiving & Stocking Clerk for a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Saint Paul.

On-site, St. Paul, MN
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $20 - $24 per hour
- Receive and process food deliveries and donations from food banks, vendors, donors, and community partners.
- Safely unload pallets, carts, boxes, and other food products using established safety procedures.
- Weigh, document, and track donations and inventory accurately.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, spoilage, and proper storage conditions.
- Conduct temperature checks and support food safety and sanitation requirements.
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain organized storage areas.
- Help maintain clean, welcoming, and well-stocked market spaces.
- Assist shoppers and support volunteers as needed.
- Support food distributions, special events, and other food access initiatives.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, reach, push, pull, load, and unload products throughout most of the workday.
- Comfort working in an active market environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing delivery schedules and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to serving families experiencing food insecurity with dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Experience in grocery, warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, stocking, food shelf, food rescue, or related environments.
- Experience using pallet jacks, carts, scales, thermometers, or similar equipment.
- Food safety or food handler certification.
- Customer service or community-based nonprofit experience.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, Karen, Hmong, or Somali.
