Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $24.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Viking Lakes are entitled to elect the following benefits:

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Perform inspections and routine maintenance on building systems(heating, ventilation, air conditioning plumbing and electrical, hydraulic, etc.), including replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits. Use specialized measuring and diagnostic devices to evaluate how electrical equipment is working, building, or calibrating instrumentation.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations).
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well‑functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems. Set up electrical exhibits.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems, safety, and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit‑breaker panels etc.).
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Maintain all electrical equipment throughout the property.
• Provide technical assistance to other engineers as necessary.
• Receive direction from engineering management on daily assignments or projects and complete within the time and manner specified or in accordance with hotel needs.
• Receive direction for house calls via radio and respond promptly and appropriately.
• Understand and be able to receive and update work requests from the work request system (Synergy).
• Complete appropriate documents and logs for work assigned daily or as a project.
