The Intercontinental Saint Paul Riverfront is a full‑service luxury hotel in downtown St. Paul, offering 408 guest rooms and over 44,000 square feet of event space. This role involves maintaining all electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work on the property.

$31.00/hr – $31.00/hr

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspect guestrooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas for condition, safety and equipment operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and property finishes using basic and power tools.
• Manage administrative duties such as logbook entries, meter readings, and parts ordering.
• Respond promptly to maintenance radio calls and resolve guest service requests.
• Complete assigned work orders for plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment and guestrooms in a timely manner.
• Assist with special projects, attend department meetings, recommend energy‑saving and safety ideas, and maintain a positive guest‑relations attitude.

• Minimum 3 years experience as a commercial building maintenance technician.
• State boilers license or willingness to obtain one.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of specialized training and working knowledge of health, electrical, fire, mechanical codes and wiring schematics.
• Strong communication skills and basic arithmetic ability.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb, push/pull up to 250 lb, stand and move for up to 4 hours.
