On-Call Housekeeper

Housekeeping Job Details:

• Hours
  -Typical shifts range 9am-5pm , this is initially a on-call need with a planned transition into TEMPORARY full-time hours
• Pay Range - $17.00-$18.00/hour
• Location - 733 Selby Ave St. Paul MN , Seven Hills Senior Living

Housekeeping Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart

• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule

• Assure resident apartments are clean and sanitized as scheduled

• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues

• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe

• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner

Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:

• Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture

• Washing inside glass doors and windows

• Sweeping and/or mopping floors

• Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom

• Dusting

• Rubbish/trash removal

• Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards

• Seasonal duties as assigned

Housekeeping Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience

• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident's and overall community's best interest

• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently

• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals

• Good work ethic

• Maintains confidentiality
