We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living team. This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. They will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble‑shooting of building systems and equipment. The schedule includes:
- casual / on call
- day shift
- Weekends as needed
- Basic maintenance and safety awareness
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to respond to tenant/visitor/staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
- Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
- One to three years of previous experience
- High school Diploma/GED
