As the Director of Dealer Operations for Part & Service, you will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence across established, multi-location markets. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and financial performance, you will oversee day-to-day branch operations while executing market-level strategies that support sustained growth and profitability. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure consistent execution, continuous improvement, and alignment with the company’s values of integrity, innovation, and dependability.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and coach Operations Managers and frontline leaders across established, multi-location markets, with accountability for operational performance, financial results, and team development.
  • Drive operational efficiency and revenue growth by setting and optimizing KPIs across service, parts, and rental functions, including responsibility for budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure consistency, productivity, and quality customer service across regions.
  • Develop and execute market-level operational and business strategies, translating strategic objectives into clear priorities, action plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, service, and support teams to deliver differentiated, client-focused solutions, resolve complex operational or customer issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Leadership Competencies
  • Technical Acumen:
    • Strong understanding of service workflows, fleet and equipment logistics, and dealership systems (e.g., CRM, DMS, service software).
    • Ability to use data and operational analytics to improve service performance, turnaround time, and utilization.
  • People Leadership:
    • Build trust across all levels of the organization, providing clear direction and timely feedback.
    • Coach and develop managers to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    • Anticipate industry trends and operational challenges; develop forward-looking solutions that improve efficiency and profitability.
    • Align local branch operations with broader organizational priorities and customer expectations.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Lead with a hands-on approach when necessary, ensuring policies and procedures are practical, scalable, and customer focused.
    • Maintain a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in operations or commercial leadership roles, including at least 5 years of success leading and developing front-line managers responsible for day-to-day operations, with accountability for performance across multiple locations or a regional footprint.
  • Experience managing established or mature markets, with a demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, drive revenue growth, and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L results.
  • Ability to develop and execute market and business strategies and translate them into clear priorities and results.
  • Strong understanding of products and services, with the ability to develop differentiated, client-focused solutions.
  • Sound problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, including competitive awareness and market positioning.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and able to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
