Financial Manager, Business Administration
This is an onsite position in St. Paul, MN, USA. Starting salary is $33.50 per hour.
The Business Office Manager provides day-to-day general business operations and financial accountability within established healthcare standards and government regulations for Holy Family Residence. As a member of the administrative team, the individual shares the core values of the Little Sisters of the Poor, including responsible stewardship for all resources. The role requires personal and professional integrity and ethical conduct consistent with business principles in a not-for-profit, charitable organization.
The Business Office Manager oversees accounts payable, general ledger, donation revenue, liability insurance, local/state and federal business operations requirements, banking duties and reconciliation, cash flow tracking, and general office tasks. This position collaborates primarily with the Mother Superior/Administrator and the departments involved in business office services. This position’s responsibilities and relationships with other persons within or associated with Holy Family Residence are outlined below.
Qualifications (Education and/or Experience)
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in business or a related field and seven years of progressive responsibility in business office management and accounting experience, or the professional equivalent in a related field. Includes accounting principles and general business operations, such as budgeting, banking duties and reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, depreciation and liability coverage.
- Preferred:
Prior work experience in a not-for-profit and health care setting with working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other governmental requirements. - Demonstrated moral integrity, honesty and ethical standards consistent with a Roman Catholic healthcare provider and the home’s corporate compliance policy; genuine mission alignment with the Little Sisters of the Poor.
- Professional demeanor in appearance, speech and writing; discretion regarding all business and confidential information.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, including participation in committees to meet deadlines in support of the mission.
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours to meet department goals and deadlines (e.g., year-end reports and annual audit preparation).
- A valid driver’s license in the United States.
