_This position will provide supervision to the licensing review staff within the Licensing Program for the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). This section is responsible for reviewing, approving and administering the agencies licenses for cannabis retailers and growers._
_The position actively manages the workflow, assigns the work to staff, participates and implements quality initiatives to assure effective and efficient processes based on regulatory standards._ _This position plans, organizes, directs and implements policies, procedures and activities with the OCM Licensing Section so that licensing activities are conducted in compliance with Minnesota Statutes and other applicable rules and laws._
_The position conducts daily review of section staff performance through utilization of regulator performance reporting and is responsible for identifying organizational needs and recommending solutions and improvements as needed._
This position is expected to report to the office at least three days per week with the ability to telework up to two days per week.
** Minimum Qualifications*
* _To facilitate proper years of service crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held._
_Three years of experience performing licensing or registration review duties._
Experience in a lead worker or supervisory role assigning and reviewing the work of others or leadership experience which may include the completion of a leadership development program such as Everyday Leaders Institute or Senior Leadership Institute. Applicants may also substitute experience in a paid or unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee, such as an Employee Resource Group (ERG), that includes at least 1+ years of identifying issues, goals, and strategic actions and a 100+ hours per year time commitment.
Experience working with and implementing administrative processes and procedures, information systems management, databases, or data quality and control.
Proficiency using personal computers, computer peripherals such as printers, scanners and application development and communication tools such as SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
** Preferred Qualifications*
* _Experience supervising or managing staff._
_Experience in a licensing or registration program where State statues and policies must be adhered to._
_Knowledge of Minnesota Cannabis regulations and laws._
Knowledge of public policy and administrative procedures and processes sufficient to evaluate, solve problems and implement new procedures.
Experience in developing work instructions, standard operating procedures, or division policies.
