• This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. • Developing, refining and participating in the Department of Human Services (“DHS) contracts process for all Department contracts, including professional/technical contracts, grants, income contracts, annual plans and master contracts;
• Developing an Annual Contract Plan for the Department;
• Reviewing all contracts initiated by the Department to ascertain compliance with all legal requirements as to form and execution and compliance with both state and federal laws;
• Refining and managing data on all Department contracts and contractors;
• Integrating the Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) with the procedures utilized by the Department for contracts execution;
• Developing and maintaining a contracts database that enables the department to meet all reporting requirements;
• Co-leading the integration and continuous monitoring of contracting procedures to assure the successful procurement of professional/technical and grant services for the Department.

  Leadership experience can include:
  • Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead;

  • 1+ year of experience identifying issues, goals and strategic actions
  • 100+ hours per year time commitment
