Position OverviewThe Managing Partner in Training is expected to rapidly acclimate to the Crunch culture with a high-performance mentality. They operate with speed and urgency to deliver outcomes, create a welcoming environment for team members and members, and support goal achievement in a non-judgmental setting. WhatYou’ll Do
You will drive club profitability by energizing the team around clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals. You’ll focus on member satisfaction and retention by ensuring timely resolution of concerns, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining a clean, fully operational facility. You’ll lead performance through effective hiring, onboarding, coaching, and KPI tracking, while also managing staff schedules and payroll to ensure optimal coverage.
With a deep understanding of offerings and operations, you’ll uphold high standards across compliance, inventory, and overall club experience.
- High-performance talent recruited, hired, and onboarded; teams energized through coaching, staff meetings, sales development, operational policy execution, and clear accountability.
- Consistently deliver a profitable, KPI-driven business through operational mastery and P&L ownership.
- Exceptional member experience with rapid issue resolution, high retention/satisfaction, and a clean, well-maintained facility.
- Full ownership readiness—independently running all aspects of the business with people, results, culture, and compliance.
You bring people together around clear objectives and maintain steady focus on execution. You engage the team in solving problems while maintaining forward momentum. Decisions are timely, and performance expectations are high for both yourself and the team. You are knowledgeable about established processes and serve as a reliable resource for others. Your communication is clear and direct, focused on helping the team move forward.
Responsibilities- Energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives
- Ensure member resolutions are timely and focus on retention
- Monitor and scoreboard staff performance to meet/exceed KPI standards
- Recruit, hire, and onboard talent
- Coach and develop team members to drive sales performance
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained facility 24/7
- Monitor payroll and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor inventory and ensure timely restocking
- Assist with staff meetings and performance management
- Minimum 2 years of fitness or service-oriented management experience preferred
- Experience supervising a team of at least 15 members preferred
- Experience with business operations such as hiring, onboarding, promotion, and removal of team members
- Experience in labor management and inventory control
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
