Job DescriptionJoin our service department and become an integral part of our team by working on products that come back from the field in need of diagnostics and repair. You will be responsible for receiving products, interpreting customer complaints, opening service procedures in the computer system, and conducting diagnostics and repairs as necessary. You will notify technicians if you require assistance with diagnostics.
Occasionally, you may need to perform soldering, primarily soldering new power jacks onto boards, which can be trained on the job. If boards themselves have issues, you will swap them out instead of attempting board repairs. Candidates will perform assembly operations at a work station using basic hand and power tools, perform calibrations, and conduct variable testing with oscilloscopes and gilibrators for flow rates, requiring judgment to assure conformance to specification.
- Receive and interpret customer complaints.
- Open service procedures for specific models in the computer system.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs as needed.
- Notify technicians if assistance is needed with diagnostics.
- Conduct soldering, primarily of new power jacks onto boards, with on-the-job training available.

- Experience in a Production/Manufacturing Environment, preferably with mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Experience using hand and electric tools and manipulating small objects.
- Ability to read and follow detailed procedures and verbal instructions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with soldering and using a microscope.
- Knowledge of work instructions and electronic assembly.
- Understanding of electro‑mechanical systems.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
