Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs on production and auxiliary equipment to support production and precision machining operations
• Assist in the set-up and troubleshooting of vision systems, ultra-sonic welders, pad printers, collaborative robots, five-axis robots, and other secondary automation equipment
• Perform, maintain and record preventive maintenance on production, tool room and precision machining equipment
• Clean screw and barrels as required
• Assist with the install and set up of new equipment
• Generate and implement improvements to equipment and procedures
• Assist in facility maintenance and modifications as required
• Follow all applicable quality and work-related instructions
• Good storeroom/parts room practice

• Work overtime and remain on-call as required; hours may be adjusted to meet production requirements
• Responsibility to protect Donatelle confidential information and Intellectual Property
• Follow safety requirements as outlined in the safety manual
• Follow 5S lean methodology
• Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our internal customers
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge in one or more area: hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or electrical systems
• Able to use hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and PM’s
• Basic ability to use MS Office, Maintenance CMMS, and Donatelle ERP applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree in a mechanical/electrical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years’ experience repairing and maintaining production equipment
• 1-2 experience in injection molding machines and/or machine tool equipment.
• Basic ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
• Basic understanding of PLCs and various sensors (presence, position, pressure, vacuum, temperature, etc.)

Hourly wage range: $22 to $32
