Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic spot-welding equipment to fuse metal segments using resistance, projection, and capacitor discharge welding.;
Prepare all material surfaces to be welded by removing scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, and other contaminants.;
Determine appropriate equipment settings and welding methods using knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.;
Monitor weld quality during production and adjust equipment or process parameters to maintain consistency.;
Operate and support robotic welding systems as needed, including basic setup and operation.
