About the Role:Sanitation Site Supervisor
The Sanitation Site Supervisor leads daily sanitation operations at a client facility that runs multiple shifts, seven days a week. You’ll work closely with your team before, during, and after sanitation shifts — ensuring the site is ready, safety protocols are followed, and food safety standards are met. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll coach frontline employees, manage sanitation processes, oversee shift readiness, and serve as the point of contact with both client management and regulatory inspectors.
Responsibilities- Lead sanitation teams; supervise and support sanitation employees to ensure proper staffing, safe practices, and effective cleaning processes.
- Ensure shift readiness; coordinate with client maintenance teams pre‑shift, verify lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and confirm equipment access.
- Drive safety & food safety; reinforce PPE use, GMPs, SSOPs, and HAZCOMM practices; ensure compliance with USDA/FDA requirements.
- Inspect & approve work; conduct equipment inspections before, during, and after sanitation to ensure readiness for production.
- Partner with inspectors & clients; accompany USDA/QA inspectors during pre‑op inspections and maintain strong communication with client leadership.
- Manage documentation; complete and maintain sanitation logs, deficiency reports, training records, and time/attendance records.
- Enforce standards; apply company policies consistently, including progressive discipline when needed.
- Adapt to needs; adjust staffing to cover short crews, manage budgets responsibly, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation effectiveness.
- Experience:
2–3 years in sanitation leadership within food processing (USDA/FDA environment required). - Sanitation knowledge: strong understanding of GMPs, SSOPs, lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and chemical handling.
- Supervisory skills: ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingual preferred:
English and Spanish. - Adaptability: willingness to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and in all plant conditions (hot, cold, wet, loud).
- Leadership: set clear expectations, motivate the team, and lead by example.
- Accountability: take ownership of results, documentation, and compliance.

Schedule : 8‑ to 10‑hour shifts; days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
Work Environment :
