Production Helper - 3rd Shift

Compensation

*$22.08 per hour plus $0.50 per hour shift differential.

3rd shift (9:00pm–6:30am). 4–10 hour days. Shift roster varies:
Tue–Fri or Mon–Thu.

• Set‑up and operate all packaging equipment and ensure quality of shipped products.
• Manage all packaging line positions within the plant.
• Perform packaging, sanitation, and shipping functions, including forklift operation.

• Monitor the packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, packaging needs, and deviations; make necessary adjustments.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Identify, report, and if necessary, halt nonconforming or inferior product, including proper slicing.
• Set up packers for all products; change packaging film, colored bands, and thermal ribbons.
• Remove broken trays and foreign matter from line.
• Operate the tray washer.
• Ensure plant personnel follow GMPs, personal safety, food safety, HACCP, and SQF rules.
• Adhere to the Baldinger Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as assigned by the business.

• High‑school graduate or equivalent experience/training.
• Basic math and computation skills; verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.

• Stand up to 12 hours, working with and around machinery.
• Stoop, bend, and crouch to check equipment or supplies in low areas.
• Lift 50lb continuously; push or pull wheeled carts of 100–500lb.
• Sweep, mop, and perform general and detailed cleaning per SSOPs.
• Climb ladders.
