Operations Manager, Forklift Operator
Position Summary
U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.
The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Job Responsibilities- Perform cycle counting to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and maintain the most up‑to‑date, efficient methods of inventory control available.
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; use mechanical equipment or team lifts when handling commercial tires.
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
- Comfortably work at heights up to 25 feet in stock racks that may be 25 feet tall.
- Organize, implement, adjust, and monitor cycle counts.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain records of adjustments to inventory, working with warehouse personnel to resolve errors.
- Follow up on customer shortages or other errors.
- Build and maintain strong trusting working relationships within the team.
- Provide recommendations on process improvement and assist in implementation.
- Cross‑functional collaboration across multiple areas of the warehouse.
- Have a clear understanding of receiving and pulling processes.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to review and provide suggestions aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Review and organize warehouse bin locations.
- Perform daily cycle counting and Put Away Audit.
- Other job‑related tasks as directed by supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.

Physical demands:
The employee must be qualified in visual, auditory, physical, and mental abilities to operate equipment safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee frequently lifts products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and may exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires may require rolling, destacking, team lifting, or mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, and self‑retracting lifeline (SRL). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. All staff must adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for protective equipment use.
Work environment:
The employee may be exposed to weather conditions. Noise level is usually moderate. Fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants may be present.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- 4 years prior experience in warehouse, inventory control, or related field, or equivalent training.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good memory and attention to detail for long part numbers.
- Ability to process a large volume of paperwork accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various individuals.
- Excellent math skills and understanding of basic accounting methods.
- Above‑average scanning accuracy.
- Ability to follow directions and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (excluding THC/marijuana).
