Manufacturing Tech II

Your Role

Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products. They will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any related regulations applicable to the specific job. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of the devices and associated documentation.

• Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including cutting, weighing, processing tissue, mixing solutions, washing components or equipment, wrapping for sterilization, assembling or gluing components, packaging and sealing devices, preparing devices for sterilization, final packaging or labeling of products.
• Operate general production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, stir plates, etc.
• Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
• Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain GMP standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times while on the manufacturing or warehouse floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to read, write English, and perform basic math skills required by the job.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• May require work in a clean room environment wearing special garments such as scrubs, hair bonnets, frocks, hoods, masks, gloves based on the clean room class level.
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, face shields, protective sleeves, aprons will be provided based on safety requirements for each area.
• Overtime may be required at times.

• Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs individually or up to 65 lbs as part of a team lift.
• Requires frequent object handling, fine hand coordination, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping.
• Requirement of 20/25 vision (with or without corrective lenses).
• Job also involves hazardous materials and hazardous waste responsibilities, including proper handling, storage, in‑house treatment using neutralization and dilution systems, and labeling requirements.

The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually. This range may be adjusted based on market data, location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. The position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
