Rough Cut Operator

Job Overview

This position is responsible for operating the rough cut machinery, maintaining it, keeping accurate documentation, handling material, and ensuring safety standards, quality and order accuracy. The role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who can perform in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate the machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) and monitor its operation at all times.
• Perform required quality checks.
• Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan operations.
• Set up and operate cutting machinery.
• Complete all necessary documentation for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified.
• Visually inspect equipment with complex parts, conduct preventative maintenance, and maintain area cleanliness.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Cross‑train on multiple types of equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
• Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Mechanically inclined (preferred).
• Systems:
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (preferred).

• Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings.
• Lift up to 60 lbs.
• Push or pull 100 lbs.
• Stand on feet for long periods during a shift of up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
• Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift.

Starting hourly range: $19.00 – $24.00. Pay is determined by factors such as location, experience, and education.
