Salary Range: $25.77 to $25.77 Hourly

Monday - Friday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm)

This individual is responsible for compounding batches of gel coat and colorants and then packing those materials to be shipped.

• Follow compounding procedures on batch cards to make batches or batch samples.
• Provide accurate recording of activities, ingredients and other required information and data.
• Properly return unused raw materials to proper storage areas.
• Ensure that all drums and containers are properly sealed and labeled for shipping.
• Move drums and containers to the warehouse location of the facility in a safe manner.
• Keep the work environment clean, ensuring the warehouse is proper and organized and aisles are not blocked with raw materials or finished goods.
• Provide light maintenance to prevent contamination such as cleaning vessels and equipment, replacing blades, filter bags and baskets on pumps.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong ability to follow safety regulations, read and understand written instructions.
• Ability to pass and wear a respirator mask and hear a variety of warning alarms.
• Forklift Certified or must be able to pass forklift training in order to obtain a certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds assisted.
• Must be able to use a drum cart to move drums weighing up to 650 lb.
• Previous experience with batch compounding and/or manufacturing background is preferred.
