- Sort cargo and materials before loading or unloading to ensure correct placement and efficient workflow.
- Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and precut materials as required.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate hoisting devices and equipment where applicable.
- Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers to ensure products are secure and meet quality standards.
- Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks to the work area and return them after use to maintain organization.
- Participate in cleaning and training activities during the first and last hour of the shift to support safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines while working with chemical products and production equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth production flow and resolve basic issues that arise during the shift.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of general labor or related experience required.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing production experience preferred, ideally in a chemical production environment (chemical experience is preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds consistently throughout the day.
- Ability to wear steel-toe boots throughout the shift.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills to read work orders and follow instructions.
- Analytical and problem‑solving ability to identify and address simple production or material issues.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail in packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Ability to learn and safely operate relevant production and material handling equipment.
- Reliability to work a full‑time schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
