Requirements and

Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree or 5 years of related assembly and fabrication experience.
• MIG welding experience required.
• High competency using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of metal properties and other material.
• Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities.
• Reading a blueprint fluently and accurately fitting parts based on that.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to plan and work independently.
• Strong organization and technical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welding both aluminum and steel weldments which meet our quality and finishing standards.
• Has the skills and knowledge to MIG weld using proper technique and principles.
• Prepare raw metal parts for fabrication and manufacturing.
• Support assembly when non-standard product goes into production.
• Work with engineering to test and fabricate new product designs using welding and machining skills.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Ensures work center is clean and organized.
• Reading a blueprint fluently and accurately fitting parts based on that.
• Excellent, reliable attendance.
• Team player: willing to work with Manager, Supervisor, Engineers, and other departments to make corrections, address challenges, and build consistently good product. Agreeable, personable, communicates well.
