Linders Specialty Company, a leading provider of quality metal fabrication services for OEMs, fabricators, manufacturers, and artists across the United States, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Saint Paul, MN.

- Hands on metal fabrication experience
- Management experience within a metal fabrication environment
- Mechanical Engineering Degree OR continuous improvement background experience in a metal fabrication environment
- Manage all aspects of the metal fabrication shop to ensure efficient and effective work performance and on time delivery, including scheduling
- Able to visualize solutions, communicate those solutions to production personnel and create an action plan
- Effectively delegate tasks, follow up, and hold production personnel accountable
- Ensure all personnel are properly trained and competent to perform required operations
- Develop and drive continuous improvement activities in scrap reduction, machine utilization and labor costs
- Ability to collect and analyze data to measure improvements and demonstrate cost savings, efficiency gains, etc.
- Manage all production aspects to meet the high-quality standards required by our company
- Maintain preventative maintenance process and schedules
- Ensure that safety standards are followed, and safety committee meetings are held on a regular schedule and results are reported to leadership
- Interview, evaluate, and train production personnel
- Works with sales team when necessary to help accurately estimate times and ensure manufacturability of new designs
- Maintains quality control process for manufacturing
- Provide guidance and direction to each of the production personnel as needed
- Communicate effectively to leadership or production personnel when dealing with challenges in manufacturing
- Ensures all machinery and tooling are maintained and in full operating condition
- Keep shipping on schedule and alerts appropriate parties as necessary
