Responsibilities

  • Support production assembly builds to meet customer order requirements, which will be the highest-priority responsibility.
  • Perform assembly, cable fabrication, soldering, and box-build activities as required.
  • Troubleshoot production and assembly-related issues and assist in corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and schedule adherence.
  • Facilitate engineering change management processes between Production and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain and distribute technical documentation, including drawings, work instructions, and design revisions.
  • Coordinate documentation updates with both internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical requirements independently.
Contract Manufacturing Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for contract manufacturing partners.
  • Manage Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and assembly documentation.
  • Coordinate implementation of design updates and engineering changes with manufacturing partners.
  • Address technical questions and provide recommendations related to existing and new products.
Quality Assurance
  • Facilitate, review, and implement Quality Assurance processes with contract manufacturers.
  • Support product inspections and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree (2-year degree) in a technical discipline such as Electronics or related field.
  • Candidates without a degree will be considered if they possess at least 2 years of relevant experience
    .
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions independently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with:
  • Cable assembly and fabrication
  • Electronic assembly and box builds
  • Soldering
  • Production manufacturing environments
  • Experience with engineering documentation and change management.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and contract manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software, particularly PTC Creo
    , is a plus.
  • FAA Part 107 Certification or willingness to obtain certification within three months of employment.
