Responsibilities
- Support production assembly builds to meet customer order requirements, which will be the highest-priority responsibility.
- Perform assembly, cable fabrication, soldering, and box-build activities as required.
- Troubleshoot production and assembly-related issues and assist in corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and schedule adherence.
- Facilitate engineering change management processes between Production and Engineering teams.
- Maintain and distribute technical documentation, including drawings, work instructions, and design revisions.
- Coordinate documentation updates with both internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical requirements independently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for contract manufacturing partners.
- Manage Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and assembly documentation.
- Coordinate implementation of design updates and engineering changes with manufacturing partners.
- Address technical questions and provide recommendations related to existing and new products.
- Facilitate, review, and implement Quality Assurance processes with contract manufacturers.
- Support product inspections and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Associate degree (2-year degree) in a technical discipline such as Electronics or related field.
- Candidates without a degree will be considered if they possess at least 2 years of relevant experience
. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with:
- Cable assembly and fabrication
- Electronic assembly and box builds
- Soldering
- Production manufacturing environments
- Experience with engineering documentation and change management.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and contract manufacturing.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software, particularly PTC Creo
, is a plus. - FAA Part 107 Certification or willingness to obtain certification within three months of employment.
