Responsibilities
- Planning the workload for the day/week through assigned reporting and direction from leadership.
- Create or print work order travelers based on the schedule.
- Complete the work orders through the operating system with a 100% accuracy goal.
- Audit coworkers’ system transactions.
- Print labels for designated product being created.
- Contribute to accident‑free operations and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Assemble pre‑formed boxes.
- Create packages containing the correct number of items for kitting packages, including handrails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates, and building screws.
- Label completed boxes.
- Band and cover completed boxes.
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision or management.
- Must be self‑directed, motivated, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Work‑schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business.
- High‑school graduate or GED preferred.
- One to three years of experience in a similar position.
- Forklift certification preferred (sit‑down and stand‑up) along with material‑handling experience.
- Stand for long periods.
- Walk, sit, and use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift and move up to 50 lb. occasionally.
- Operate in an environment that can become cold or hot depending on the weather.
- Use vision skills: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
Physical Requirements
- Vision: near, distance, color, peripheral, depth.
- Sense of sound – ability to understand conversational speech.
- Sense of touch.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) per safety guidelines.
Manufacturing setting where temperatures can become very hot depending on weather conditions.
