Press Brake Set Up/Operator

9001:2015 certified contract precision metal manufacturing company delivering metal components to Fortune 500 companies at our St. Paul facility. We are currently seeking a skilled press operator.
The sheet metal Press Brake position offers you a solid company where you can establish long-term employment that will offer growth and opportunity.
Pay $22-26
Shift – Weekend Shift 5am to 5pm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
2nd shift 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday thru Thursday
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Set‑up and run forming operations with tolerances of +/- .010” to +/- .030” on .036 gauge to .187 gauge sheet metal.
- Set‑up and run Cincinnati CNC Controlled and Amada® HDS sheet metal press brakes.
- Inspect work, making necessary notations on work routers.
- Review job/production orders and interpret accompanying prints and drawings to determine job requirements, check for accuracy of information, and identify any discrepancies or special needs.
- Ensure that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Company ISO and Quality standards.
- Prepare and clean product surfaces, as necessary, for desired operation.
- Communicate with each operator at your shift change (inform them of current status or upcoming tasks).
- Troubleshoot production problems.
- Other duties as assigned.

- General working knowledge of metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand job specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Experience inspecting your own parts using dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers and gages.
- Good judgement, decision making and communication skills.
- Good attendance and punctuality; willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work well with others in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8‑12 hours.
- Reliable transportation.
- 1+ years of laser experience (training will be provided).
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical or trade school training program is a plus.
