Welder/Fabricator

Pay Rate Range: $25.00–$33.00/hr

Saint Paul, MN

Schedule:

1st Shift Monday–Thursday 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Type:
Temp to Hire

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
• Proficiency in MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Strong understanding of welding processes and materials
• Working knowledge of mathematics
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn
• Trade school experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Fabricate components to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Assemble and weld large, fabricated units with precision and attention to detail
• Demonstrate proper welder setup and adjustment
• Operate a manual plasma cutter
• Identify steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes and their applications
• Recognize common steel alloys and apply appropriate welding procedures
