Medical Assembler
Join our team as a Medical Assembler where you will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will be trained to work on various assembly processes including coil winding, molding, and laser welding. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with small components used in medical devices.
Responsibilities- Operate coil winding machines and wrap coils around spindles for medical assembly processes.
- Use microscopes to inspect and manipulate wires and components.
- Perform deburring and inspection of parts using tools such as pliers, files, and knives.
- Work in various cleanroom assembly areas, including CEA Assembly and Laser Welding.
- Participate in molding processes and inspect parts for quality.
- Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the Implantable Housings area.
- Follow written work instructions and ensure quality control throughout the assembly process.
- Hand dexterity is crucial for handling small parts and tools.
- 4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or working with small parts.
- Proficiency in using microscopes for inspection and assembly tasks.
- Experience in cleanroom environments and medical device assembly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical inclination is beneficial, especially in the housings area.
- Experience in activities like sewing that require good hand dexterity.
- Adaptability and willingness to be cross-trained in different assembly areas.

WorkEnvironment
You will be working in a very clean and well-equipped facility, often in a cleanroom environment requiring specific attire. Some positions may be in louder, non-cleanroom areas with machinery. The work requires adaptability to sitting and standing throughout the day, with attire accommodating safety regulations.
JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.53/hr.
