Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Schedule: M - F 6:30am - 3pm
Pay: $19 - $20
Job Description
Join our dynamic service department, where you will handle products returning from the field that require diagnostics and repair. You will receive these products, read customer complaints, and initiate service procedures using our computer system. Your role will involve conducting diagnostics and performing necessary repairs, with the option to seek assistance from a technician if needed. Occasionally, you may need to solder, particularly new power jacks onto boards, but training will be provided.
You will perform assembly operations at a work station using basic hand and power tools, and conduct calibrations and variable testing using oscilloscopes and gilibrators to ensure specifications are met.
- Receive and review products returning from the field.
- Read and interpret customer complaints.
- Initiate service procedures on the computer system.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs as needed.
- Notify technician for assistance with complex diagnostics.
- Conduct assembly operations using basic hand and power tools.
- Perform soldering, primarily of new power jacks onto boards, with training provided as needed.
- Conduct calibrations and testing using oscilloscopes and gilibrators.
- Proficiency in soldering and use of microscopes.
- Experience with mechanical assembly and electronic assembly.
- One year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably with mechanical assembly.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Experience using hand and electric tools.
- Proficiency in reading and following detailed procedures and verbal instructions.
Job Type and Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
