Randstad is hiring a Direct Hire Machinist with hands-on experience in CNC Lathe setup and operation for a highly respected precision job shop in the St. Paul, MN area. This company has deep roots in the industry and offers a full range of services—including Engineering, Milling, Turning, Sheet Metal, Welding, Custom Tool Grinding, and Inspection—all under one roof.

salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

- Accomplish thorough setups and edits on Lathe CNC Machines with Fanuc controls
- An average of one setup a day with extensive tool changes - typically short runs
- Run parts and test accuracies with various measurement tools
- 80% of work will be done on 17-4 Stainless Steel for various medical parts
- Working in a team environment with a focus on detail, precision, and quality
- Experience with Mastercam is preferred
- manual lifting up to 30lbs
- standing for 4 hours at one time
- working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
- Lathe Machining (1 year of experience is required)
- CNC Setup (1 year of experience is required)
- Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is required)
- Troubleshooting
- Mazak Operation
