What You'll Do

As a Mechanic Assembler II, you'll play a key role in building custom heavy equipment from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble mechanical components using engineering drawings, build sheets, and Bills of Materials
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems
  • Perform final assembly, including wiring, lighting, decals, hoods, and customer-specific configurations
  • Install and route hydraulic lines, fill systems, and prepare equipment for testing
  • Read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate assembly
  • Test completed equipment to verify quality and performance
  • Make assembly improvements and communicate process changes with production leadership
  • Mentor and train Mechanic Assembler I team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly or heavy equipment experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification or Associate Degree in Automotive, Diesel, or Heavy Equipment Repair
  • Previous experience assembling heavy equipment or industrial machinery
Physical Requirements
  • Work around, under, and over heavy equipment throughout the day
  • Lift, bend, climb, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions
