The Test Engineer plays a critical role in software validation by designing, executing, andassistingwith the maintenance of test cases to ensure the system meets defined requirements, perform as intended, and is free of defects prior to deployments. This position is responsible for software verification and validation (V&V) activities, ensuring that enterprise systems meet functional performance, and compliance requirements – particularly for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

The Test Engineer willsupportformal and informal testing while ensuring the collection of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) to support system certification and accreditation.
