Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Production Associate I to join their team. As such, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to efficient and safe production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate I
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Pay Rate: $19.25
3rd Shift: Monday through Saturday, 5:00 PM until end of shift (8-hour shift)
What's the Job?
- Assist line leaders with daily transactions and workflow management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace at all times
- Identify and analyze problems proactively, recommending solutions to improve performance
- Ensure the highest quality produce is prepared and available for daily runs
- Operate production machinery such as potato peelers and bag sealers
What's Needed?
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn lean manufacturing processes
- Ability to lift and/or move 25-50 lbs. safely and consistently
- Willingness to work in a cold and wet environment (approximately 36°F).
