Manufacturing Engineering Technician

What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you'll partner closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality teams, and Production personnel to improve processes, resolve technical issues, and support manufacturing excellence.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and support production goals.
- Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Design, build, and modify fixtures, tooling, and test equipment to support manufacturing operations.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with projects, process improvements, and engineering initiatives.
- Perform testing, data collection, and process validation activities.
- Update and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process records.
- Support equipment qualification activities and troubleshooting efforts across production areas.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering technician, maintenance, or process-support environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronics, or other FDA/ISO-regulated industries.
- Knowledge of electronic systems, test equipment, and basic diagnostic techniques.
- Experience working with pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work hands-on with equipment and tooling.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience developing and executing test plans.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting process validations, equipment qualifications, or manufacturing improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $58000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Benefits eligible for employees. Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO/Holiday Pay
