Swiss Machinist - Nights

Lowell is looking for a Swiss Machinist to work day or night shift. You will set up and operate sophisticated new Tsugami Swiss Machines to produce highly complex, close tolerance precision medical implant devices in a clean and bright environment. The ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and be team oriented. Day shift:
Monday through Thursday, 6am-4:30pm

Night shift:
Monday through Thursday, 5pm to 3:30am

• Set up and operate Tsugami Swiss Machines.
• Manufacture conforming product through the use and interpretation of part drawings, operation instructions, manufacturing specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Perform in-process inspection using inspection equipment and tools to verify dimensional and surface conformity. Uses data to adjust and maintain manufacturing process as needed.
• Maintain tooling, equipment, and work area to ensure an organized, safe, and clean environment.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the machines.
• Performs part finishing operations using a variety of abrasives, deburring tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members, quality, and engineering departments.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
• Other duties as needed and assigned.

• Minimum 3 years CNC Machinist experience, Tsugami Swiss experience preferred.
• Possesses advanced mechanical drawing reading skills and knowledge of GD&T.
• Understands metrology principles and how to perform inspection on complex parts.
Strong computer skills in order to access, store, create, and log data.
• Light programming skills and ability to read and write macros preferred.
