CNC Programmer
This role focuses on programming, setting up, and optimizing Swiss-style CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components that meet stringent quality and industry standards. You will develop and refine CNC programs, support both short and long production runs, and contribute to the implementation of a new CAD/CAM package in a growing, technology-forward manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Create and refine micro and conversational programs for Swiss-style CNC lathes, including BO205, S205, and SS20/Smart 320 machines, to produce precision components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code to improve cycle times, efficiency, and part quality.
- Support the introduction and integration of a new CAM package into the shop, collaborating with the team to build out CAD/CAM programs for a new facility.
- Handle programming and setup for both short-run and long-run production jobs based on customer requirements.
- Perform complete machine setups, including guide bushings, bar feeders, and live tooling, to ensure stable and repeatable production.
- Monitor machine performance during production, conduct in-process quality checks, and make necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and maximize machine uptime.
- Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, offsets, and program logic, and implement corrective actions to maintain consistent output.
- Support production for Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industry customers by adhering to their specific quality and documentation standards.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for CNC lathes or Swiss machines.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, including editing, troubleshooting, and optimizing programs to improve cycle times and efficiency.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Esprit, Part Maker, GibbsCAM, or similar platforms.
- Ability to perform complete machine setups, including guide bushings, bar feeders, and live tooling.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices in CNC machining and programming.
- Comfort working with new technologies and participating in the rollout of a new CAD/CAM package and facility.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $94000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
