Position: CLEANROOM PRODUCTION OPERATOR - $24/HR-$27/HR - ASAP

Cleanroom Production – Level 3 Clean Room Assembly/Operator

This role works in a full cleanroom environment assembling and inspecting medical and filtration components used in respiratory applications, including oxygen concentrators, bacterial disc filters, pre-bypass filters, and HEPA filters. You will operate specialized machines, perform detailed visual inspections, complete documentation, and support quality and secondary operations while standing for extended periods on a weekend shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a full cleanroom environment while fully gowned, including mask, gloves, hair net, booties, and other required protective equipment.
  • Operate assigned machine stations to load medical and filter components or parts, monitor machine performance, and ensure continuous, safe operation.
  • Catch, handle, and visually inspect parts as they come off the machines, using a magnifying glass and other inspection tools as required.
  • Perform assembly processes for filters and components, including packaging, labeling, bagging, sorting, trimming, and other tasks depending on the machine station and area.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and complete all required checklists, work orders, and documentation accurately and consistently.
  • Use small hand tools and custom machines to assemble and process filter components according to specifications.
  • Stand and work at a production station for 10–12 hours while maintaining focus, quality, and productivity.
  • Spend part of the shift in the quality lab operating a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and other measuring tools to measure parts and verify conformance.
  • Read and interpret first article inspection results and complete related quality documentation.
  • Spend part of the shift in the secondary operations room trimming parts and filters to size using a small saw and other cutting tools.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and hand dexterity while handling small parts and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Adhere to all cleanroom protocols, including no liquids, jewelry, or makeup in designated areas, and follow all safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Support general production activities such as stocking, packaging, and general labor tasks as needed to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
  • At least 6+ months of manufacturing experience; medical or cleanroom manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills to follow work instructions and complete documentation accurately.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 20 lbs during the shift.
  • Ability to stand for 10 hours while wearing steel toe boots.
  • Excellent attention to detail for visual inspection and quality-focused tasks.
  • Strong hand dexterity for handling small parts and performing precise assembly work.
  • Comfort working with production machinery and performing machine operation tasks.
  • Reliability and ability to work a weekend shift schedule (5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Friday to Sunday).

Skills & Qualifications
  • Microscope experience for detailed visual inspection.
  • Prior cleanroom experience, including familiarity with cleanroom protocols and gowning procedures.
  • Experience with medical documentation and regulated documentation practices.
  • Quality inspection experience, including measurement tools and inspection documentation.
  • Experience operating or supporting a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) or similar precision measuring equipment.
  • Experience in medical assembly, packaging, stocking, cashier, or general labor roles that required attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to train on 1st or 2nd shift for a few weeks before moving to the weekend shift, when possible.
