Job Title: Program Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Part-time 15 – 20 hours / week
Salary: $25 - $27 / hour depending on experience
Location: Remote and In-person at events/programs
Position SummaryThe Program Coordinator plays a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that advance the organization’s mission. This position supports program logistics, participant engagement, data tracking, and partner coordination to ensure programs are delivered effectively, efficiently, and with a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities Program Support & Coordination- Coordinate operations of assigned programs, including venue research, scheduling, registration, materials, and logistics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants, volunteers, and partners.
- Support program planning, implementation, and follow-up activities.
- Act as staff lead for volunteer committees for assigned programs.
- Communicate with participants before, during, and after programs to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with outreach and promotion (social media/website) of all UMBDA programs and events.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Track program participation, outcomes, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate program records and Bloomerang CRM.
- Prepare program materials, agendas, and reports.
- Support budget tracking and expense documentation for programs.
- 3 years of experience coordinating programs or events.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and collaborative.
- Comfortable working with diverse communities.
