The Resource & Enrollment Coordinator VISTA will build organizational capacity by developing improved outreach systems, enrollment management processes, logistical planning resources, and community resource navigation tools that staff can continue utilizing after the VISTA service year concludes. The VISTA will assess existing enrollment and outreach practices, identify opportunities for increased efficiency, and create sustainable resources that improve program accessibility, strengthen partnerships, and support youth and family engagement across sports and workforce programming.
Throughout the service year, the VISTA will:
Collaborate with Sports Programming and Workforce Development staff to assess and improve enrollment pipelines for recreation and workforce programming.
Develop and pilot outreach strategies, enrollment tracking systems, and communication resources that increase participation among low-income youth and families.
Create standardized outreach templates, enrollment workflows, community engagement resources, and logistical planning guides that support consistent program implementation. Research best practices in youth enrollment, community outreach, resource navigation, and program logistics to inform future organizational practices. Develop educational materials and curriculum focused on recreation, sustainability, and creative reuse (upcycling) to support youth programming.
Build sustainable resource navigation tools that connect youth and families with wrap-around services including housing resources, food assistance, workforce opportunities, and digital literacy supports. Compile outreach materials, enrollment documentation, logistical planning resources, and implementation guidance into a comprehensive sustainability guide for future staff.
The Resource & Enrollment Coordinator VISTA will strengthen The Sanneh Foundation's organizational capacity by developing sustainable outreach, enrollment, resource navigation, and program logistics systems that increase access to sports, recreation, and workforce development opportunities for low-income youth and families. The VISTA will assess and improve enrollment workflows, community outreach strategies, logistical planning resources, and cross-program referral systems that support participation across recreation and workforce programming.
Capacity-building resources developed by the VISTA, including outreach toolkits, enrollment tracking systems, logistical planning guides, community resource navigation materials, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) recommendations, and an end-of-year sustainability documentation guide, will strengthen TSF's ability to consistently connect youth and families to high-quality programming while reducing administrative barriers.
