Cook Position At PHS-Marvella
PHS-Marvella is seeking full-time and part-time cooks to join our team. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Address is 825 Mount Curve Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55116.
Marvella is centrally located in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul, providing easy access to retail shops and dining while still close to nature with beautiful views of the Mississippi river. This new community includes a variety of living options and supportive services to provide older adults choices to live their story, today and every day! As an employee, you can take advantage of a variety of amenities such as access to bus route, discounted employee meals, and free fitness center access.

The cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations, is strongly desired.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.00 - $22.64 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
