RECURRING GIVING MANAGER

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota
Position Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Reports to: Managing Director - Development & Engagement

Supervises: Recurring Giving Coordinator and volunteers

Compensation: US $75,000 - US $80,000 + benefits

Work Authorization: Candidates must have current authorization to work in their country of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Common Hope is seeking a strategic and relationship-centered fundraising professional to lead and grow our recurring giving portfolio, including Sponsorship, Pathway—our membership program—and future recurring giving initiatives.

The ideal candidate understands that successful recurring giving is built through meaningful, long-term relationships. This person will combine donor engagement and stewardship expertise with strategic planning, data analysis, team leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

This is an opportunity for an experienced nonprofit development professional to strengthen the way donors connect with Common Hope’s mission and support children, families, and communities in Guatemala.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Recurring Giving Manager provides strategic leadership for Common Hope’s recurring giving portfolio, including Sponsorship, Pathway, and future recurring giving initiatives.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving strategies that strengthen donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term recurring revenue growth while ensuring an exceptional sponsor and donor experience.

Working closely with Development, Communications, the Guatemala Sponsorship Team, and organizational leadership, the Recurring Giving Manager leads the implementation of the recurring giving strategy, monitors performance, supervises the Recurring Giving Coordinator, and strengthens the systems and processes that support sustainable fundraising growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Common Hope’s annual recurring giving strategy.
  • Establish priorities, budgets, performance indicators, procedures, and workflows for Sponsorship, Pathway, and other recurring giving initiatives.
  • Lead strategies to recruit, engage, retain, reactivate, and upgrade sponsors and recurring donors.
  • Design and oversee stewardship initiatives that strengthen donor satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement.
  • Cultivate relationships with high-capacity sponsors and strategic recurring donors.
  • Lead the Annual Sponsor Communication Plan in collaboration with the Guatemala Sponsorship Team.
  • Monitor acquisition, conversion, retention, recurring revenue, and donor lifetime-value metrics.
  • Provide strategic oversight of sponsorship operations while delegating day-to-day execution to the Recurring Giving Coordinator.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the Recurring Giving Coordinator and support meaningful volunteer engagement.
  • Collaborate across Development, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Database Administration, Outreach, and Guatemala-based teams.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen donor service, operational effectiveness, and recurring revenue performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Development, Fundraising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, donor relations, sponsorship programs, recurring giving, or nonprofit development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship strategies.
