This is a high-impact NICU Nurse Manager opportunity at one of the most respected women's and children's hospitals in Texas. This facility delivers more babies than any hospital in the state and operates a Level IV NICU, caring for the most complex neonatal cases. This role is open due to growth and backfill, and leadership is intentionally selective. They're looking for a NICU leader who is steady, clinically grounded, and respected by staff.
Role Overview- Oversees daily NICU operations in partnership with the Director
- Provides clinical leadership, staff support, and operational oversight
- Drives quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Supports and mentors nursing staff in a high-acuity NICU environment
- Days: 7a–7p
- Evenings: 3p–11p
- Nights: 11p–7a
- (weekends/on-call rotation applies)
- 2+ years of recent (within the last year) NICU leadership experience (Manager or Charge)
- BSN required
- Active Texas RN license or compact (TX license within 60 days if compact)
- BLS required
- Hourly Range: $45.79 – $60.09 (experience-based)
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
- Relocation assistance available (case by case)
