School-Based Registered Nurse; RN

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to provide essential healthcare services within a K-12 school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This per diem, on-call contract position offers flexible, variable hours with no guaranteed minimum, ideal for nurses seeking adaptable work opportunities during the  school year.

Duration: February 17, 2026 – June 5, 2026
Schedule: Variable, no guaranteed hours; strictly on-call as needed

• Provide nursing care and health services to students in a school environment
• Cover for district-hired nurses during planned absences, including vacations and sick days
• Support health office operations and 1:1 student health needs as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with school staff regarding student health concerns
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and follow school health protocols

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be submitted with application)
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic setting
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with students, parents, and school personnel
• Flexibility to accommodate varying assignments on short notice
