As a casual Certified Nurse Midwife with Allin, you will step into a dynamic hospital-based environment, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in labor and delivery settings. You'll collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff at our Abbott and United Mother Baby Centers.

Job Description

Principle Responsibilities

  • CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services
  • Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups
  • We attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics
  • "Natural birth experience" highlighting nontraditional care in the hospital
  • Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute
  • Professional Liability insurance including tail

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required
  • Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 Days
  • AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required
Physical Demands

Medium Work*:
Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Flat Rate: $72.00 per hour
* This position is paid on a standard non-negotiable hourly rate. Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
