Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Trauma & Surgical Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community.
This unit is very fast paced. Patients on this general/progressive surgical, specialties surgical and trauma care unit include: trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputations, colorectal, non-trauma emergent surgery, oncology surgical, plastics surgical, GYN surgical & surgical patients requiring BiPaP, tracheostomies, laryngectomies, complex wounds and/or bedside telemetry. We care for patients age 16 and above.

As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice.
Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. Schedule
0.75 Nights. All 12 hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience
- Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
- CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
- One year of acute care RN experience is preferred
